Nonfiction: Nature/Place/Environment

Wow! In 1985, Libby Riddles became the first woman to win the Iditarod sled dog race. With this book, she gave me a ride on the back of her sled, and I got to race and win the Iditarod too. "Race Across Alaska" is all about following your dreams and sharing the love, respect and admiration for the land, the people and the dogs. I don't want to tell too much of the story because I want others to enjoy the adventure as much as I did. Libby Riddles is an amazing person, and I am so glad to have found this book.
