The Boomer's Guide is just that, an expanded list of pitfalls which might arise, and how to handle them covering the following: the dangerous older driver, choosing a home care worker, assisted living, nursing homes, money issues, family conflicts, legal issues and dealing with the health care system. It does not deal with being a caregiver.
The writing is clear, practical and in large type. Most of the chapters refer one to helpful websites. At the end of each chapter is a page or two of tips. There is also a final reference to the author's website.
Carolyn Rosenblatt practiced nursing for 10 years before becoming an attorny. In her 30 years as a lawyer, she has represented 100's of individuals. She is focused on elders and on helping those caring for aging loved ones.
