Sharon Wildwind is a Calgary, Alberta writer, who focuses on mysteries and memoirs. She has kept a journal since 1978 and has one published memoir, Dreams that Blister Sleep, based on the year she spent in Vietnam with the U.S. Army Nurse Corps. Her Viet Nam veterans mystery series includes Some Welcome Home (2005), First Murder in Advent (2006), Soldier on the Porch (2007), and Missing, Presumed Wed (2009). The fifth and final book in that series is currently with the publisher. She's working on a play about the downside of nostalgia and planning a second mystery series. When words get to be too much, Sharon is also a fiber and paper artist who loves illustrated journals.
