I am a volunteer instructor for Texas Parks and Wildlife, an NRA Certified Shooting Instructor/Range Officer and have managed my own tax practice for over 25 years. When not working or teaching gun and outdoor courses, I enjoy visiting caves, camping and canoeing. My writing includes a piece in the Kitchen Table Stories anthology, a technical book on taxes for small business, local publications, quarterly newsletters and a memoir about living in the Middle East, the first proof of which was printed in Fall 2007. As a presenter at Stories of the Heart IV I gave a workshop on Storytelling and have taught Place Writing (Caves) in other workshops. I am currently a member of SCN's writing e-circle #3.
